Upon arrival at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs-Airport, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff—just the kind of hospitality that reminded me of home! My partner and I loved how quiet the location was, allowing us to unwind after a day exploring the stunning beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the nearby Garden of the Gods. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the spacious room, complete with a plush duvet and plenty of pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hot breakfast buffet was a delightful start to our day, featuring those famous cinnamon rolls, although I wish there was a toasted gluten-free option to enjoy with my coffee! Despite this, the indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic for relaxing after our adventures and gave us just the right balance of leisure during our stay. It was a lovely experience that truly felt like a charming slice of Americana, infused with that classic European touch of warmth and hospitality.
